The Belden 1502R-BLACK Multimedia Control Cable is engineered for integrated data and power transmission, making it an ideal solution for modern AV, control, and multimedia systems. This composite cable combines signal and power conductors in a single jacket, simplifying installation and reducing cable clutter.
The cable includes 1 pair of 22 AWG stranded tinned copper conductors for data transmission, insulated with FPE (Foamed Polyethylene) to ensure low signal loss and high-performance communication. It also features 2 conductors of 18 AWG stranded tinned copper for power, providing reliable power delivery to connected devices.
For enhanced performance, the cable is equipped with Belden’s Beldfoil® shielding with drain wire, offering excellent protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and ensuring stable signal integrity. The flame-retardant (F-R) PVC insulation and riser-rated outer jacket provide added safety, making it suitable for vertical installations in buildings.
